Job Description
- Report to construction manager
- Coordination with the utility agencies on the verification of high tranmission cables, vital utilities services and sensitive telecommunication cable (e.g. LT & HT electrical cables, PUB 300/900 mm pipe, underground sewers, M200 gas pipe and Singtel ) that affects the main construction works
- Coordination with the utility agaencies and Authorities on the protection and or diversion of utilities that affects the main construction works
- Endorse the excavation permitand brief sub-contractor carrying out any construction or excavation works within the utilities protection zone
- Conduct pre-construction conditioned survey of existing buildings and structures
- Responsible for submission of temporary excavation to relevant Authorities diversions (<4m deep) affecting utilities and temporary drain diversion
- Management of approval for water, drainage, and other major utilities diversion
- Supervision on utility diversion and trial trench works on site
- Paper work for approval and coordination with utility agency such as planning, approval and meeting minutes
Job Requirements
- Minium 5 years engineering experience with Recognised Degree in relevant field
- At least 2years experience in the coordination with utility agencies for PUB/LTA MRT project or similar scale, complexity and nature of work
