DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair and maintain, equipment and machines of cold room and ice maker
- Installation of chiller room,freezer room and troubleshooting chiller unit,freezer unit and ice maker
- Troubleshoot systems to determine causes and rectify.
- Service and repair kitchen equipment at work shop such as chiller, freezer ,ice maker ,bracing pan, water boiler, combi oven, dough mixer, spiral mixer and etc
- Prepare quotation and evaluate costing and propose to client.
- Ability to run a team and be responsible for installing and maintaining Cold-room projects.
- Dismantle and replace worn or defective equipment.
- Perform mechanical overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming.
- Install expansion and control valves, compressor, condenser and other components
- Top up gas to the systems
- Keep record of repairs and job schedules.
- Maintain tools and spare parts in good order.
- Practise safe and healthy working behaviour and report hazards and unsafe act.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD and AUTOCAD software.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration, insulation, and energy-efficient design principles.
- Class 3 driving license is an advantage, but not necessary.
- Able to speak and write English.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and mechanical works.
- Job requires heavy lifting, climbing and handling of materials
- Able to perform overtime and stand by for emergency
- Manage a team with proper guidance and team framework
