Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
- Analyze business requirements, translate them into technical designs, and implement effective database solutions.
- Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and troubleshooting to maintain high application performance.
- Collaborate with application development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and data flow.
- Document technical designs, processes, and support guides for application enhancements and troubleshooting.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, with proven expertise in database design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in Oracle tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, and Oracle APEX.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to development.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, with shell scripting capabilities.
- Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite or other ERP systems.
- Exposure to cloud-based database solutions and understanding of data security best practices.
