Site Supervisor
Salary range – S$2,000.00 to S$5,000.00
Job Description – Site Supervisor
Responsibilities
- To closely monitor and supervise assigned workers in construction sites
- To apply & ensure all necessary permits are approved before daily work commencement
- To conduct Tool-Box Meetings (TBM) and brief the entire team on work location and target completion for area assigned
- To ensure that the entire team on-site strictly follow and abide to any safety protocols and ensure safe works
- To report to the Site Engineer / Project Manager on all work-related matters arising from project site assigned to
- To accurately update the site management on work progress, individual worker performance, as and when requested
- To keep record of daily activity on site in written form for submission to site management / HQ
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the General Manager or the Managing Director
Requirements
- Must have attended Building Construction Supervisor Safety (BCSS) course from a recognized training centre with record of completion properly updated on the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) website
- Must have attended specific training courses, with record updated on MOM website, that qualifies the individual to apply for various permits (E.g. Work-At-Height permit by those with “Manage Work-At-Height” certificate / Formwork check-list by those with “Formwork Supervisor” certificate)
- Experienced in handling various fast-paced construction sites
- Able to read and understand construction drawings
- Must have good interpersonal / social skills to explain, communicate, liaise, negotiate with the Managing Director, own construction team, main-contractors and/or subcontractors
