JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for managing Business Partners and overseeing their work in providing commercial and financial insights to senior management of respective segment/platform
- Drive Business Partners team based on strategic direction set by Group Head of Finance Business Partners, to support the various segments/platforms in achieving their objectives and business goals
- Provide guidance and direction to the Business Partners team on their day-to-day activities, ensuring that they are meeting their responsibilities and delivering quality work
- Ensure that the Business Partners team is providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis to support decision-making across the organization
- Provide deal support for Keppel balance sheet investments (acquisitions and divestments) and provide inputs to the FM&I Transactions Team in terms of deal support for Fund-related acquisitions and divestments. Liaise with other finance functions to ensure that accounting and tax impacts are appropriately considered
- Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including driving quarterly forecasts and annual budget exercise, reviewing operational plans, and providing variance analysis for monthly/quarterly reports, board papers, and other external reporting requirements
- Liaise with JV partners on matters arising, such as dividend distributions, shareholder loans, other financial and operational matters
- Support the Group Head of Finance Business Partners in the annual review and amendment of the Financial Authorisation Limits
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the Business Partners team to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Coordinate any required training, performance management, personnel forecasting for Segment Business Partners team
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Recognised degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification, preferably CA
- 15 - 20 years of relevant working experience, ideally with initial years in a Big 4 audit firm followed by commercial experience
- Conversant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) and other regulatory compliance requirements of listed companies
- Strong leadership experience in managing and leading teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Self-driven, meticulous, energetic, proactive, good team player, good interpersonal and communication skills, and a keen analytical mind
