Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop a project timeline/schedule that effectively allocates the resources to the various activities
  • Conduct kick-off meetings; organise/attend regular progress meetings
  • Ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
  • Perform constant evaluation of project status and update relevant stakeholders on any potential issues
  • Manage contractors during installation of services to ensure the installation works are completed well within stipulated timelines and comply with pre-determined technical specifications
  • Provide service delivery tasks as assigned
  • Tracking of cost and revenue of the projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Computing Science/Engineering, Information Technology
  • PMP certification would be an added plus
  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience
  • Good knowledge of cabling infrastructure, internet networks, routers and switches
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and project management skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
