As an Automation Engineer, you must be able to use Technology to improve and automate the manufacturing processes.
Automation Assistant Engineer / Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and maintain manufacturing lines, ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and is well-maintained.
- Provide technical support for day-to-day manufacturing operations, resolving issues independently and addressing capacity constraints to ensure reliable plant performance.
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects, focusing on engineering solutions for cost reduction, process optimization, and supporting Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives.
- Monitor machine component failure patterns and implement predictive maintenance schedules for critical equipment, managing machine maintenance and spare parts to minimize downtime.
- Train and mentor SMART Technicians and Production Technicians to enhance skills and improve efficiency.
- Drive machine improvement initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and reduce reject rates.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), improve cycle time on bottleneck equipment, and resolve capacity constraints.
Automation Assistant Engineer / Engineer Requirements:
- Diploma in engineering or its equivalent
- Fresh Poly Graduate will be considered
