Are you a hands-on person who is able to make mechanics and electronics work on a higher level and do you have an ambition to travel the world as a service engineer, then you are the person we are looking for.


The company
With innovative design and solutions in the absolute high-end scale of the market, we are dealing within the business of cylinder lubrication systems for 2-stroke engines worldwide. With the foundation of Hans Jensen Lubricators in 1917, we take advantage of our 104 years of experience in order to keep our position in the lead, and to assure our clients always meet the highest quality and service. We currently employ 85 colleagues, our culture is characterized by openness and dialogue combined with an exciting and dynamic environment, where we all bring the customer into focus.


Our customers include ship owning companies, technical management companies and engine makers. Our usual point of contact is technical directors, technical managers, Superintendents and Chief Procurement Officers.


The job
In the beginning of your employment you will be train in Singapore, where you will undergo in-house training in our products, both theoretical and practical. Here after you will be sent on service visits on vessels around the world.


Your primary tasks will be:

· Service jobs in fields of mechanics and electronics (performing installations etc.).

· Testing existing electrical projects.

· Troubleshooting and repairing internal and external.

· Customer instructions and customer service when you are on board the vessel.

· Overhaul of lubricators.

You have to be prepared on traveling approx. 130 days a year and need to be able to travel on short notice, also on public holidays, to implement service tasks on vessels which are either sailing, in port or in dock.


Your profile

We imagine that you have a background as marine engineer, preferable with sailing, knowledge of electrical and mechanical experience as well as engine would be an added advantages. You are used to working according to instructions and diagram-drawings. It will be an advantage if you already have experience in travel work.


You are comfortable with working alone on service jobs, far away from your everyday life, but also manage to take part in team work, when more colleagues are on the same job. You possess a high professional pride and understand that quality and service are essential to make you succeed in your job. You are fluent in English both in writing and speech.
