Roles & Responsibilities

Due to business needs, we are now recruiting a Accounting and Tax Manager to be part of the Accounting team for expansion.


The Duties of Head of Accounting and Tax:

· To manage a team of 5 accountants with a large client base in industries such as manufacturing, research, retail, construction, property, oil & gas, charities, investment, metals, design, consulting, and start-ups.

· To ensure that we provide accurate information to our clients and the local authorities so that all their statutory obligations are met; these includes filing tax returns with IRAS and Financial Statements with ACRA

· Bookkeeping and oversee daily accounting operations, including month-end closing procedures, audits, and annual reporting for a portfolio of blue-chip clients.

· Conduct bank reconciliations and forecast cash flow to maintain financial stability.

· Manage payroll operations and assist in budgeting and cost analysis.

· Prepare and file corporation tax, employer tax, and GST returns.


Desired Experience

  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel, XERO, MYOB, SAP, Payday and any other accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines.

Desired Qualification

  • Diploma/degree in accounting with minimum of 5-7 years of full spectrum accounting and tax compliance experience, preferably from related industry.
  • CPA / ACCA or its equivalents is a plus.
  • Area of expertise: Bookkeeping, Tax, Payroll, Management Accounting, Financial Reporting, Financial Statements, Consolidated Accounting and Financial Statements
  • Ability to complete tasks while maintaining all confidentiality requirements.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and/or another language is a plus as we deal with multinational clients.
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly and professional behaviour.
