Business Development Executive

Working hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am to 6:00 pm

As a Hunter Sales / Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding our client base. You will focus on identifying and closing new business deals, establishing strong relationships with potential clients, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business opportunities through research, networking, and prospecting.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of products/services to new clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
Requirements:
- Diploma and above in Business Management, or in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proven track record of success in a sales role (With an existing client base), preferably within the freight forwarding / customs brokerage industry.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Added advantage of familiarity with Ocean, Air, Contract Logistics.
- Salary package will be commensurate based on experience and skill set (Basic & Commission).
- Based on experience, the ideal candidate may be considered for a Supervisor/Manager position.
