Job Responsibilities
Fund administrators are primarily responsible for the accounting, monitoring, and reporting transactions and values of the investment portfolio. They look into the management of the performance of funds and attend to the needs of the investors by providing the fund valuation. They prepare timely and accurate fund accounting output, including net asset values, yields, distributions for subsequent review, and accounting for investment portfolios including securities, real estate, or commodities. Their work thus consists of fund accounting and back-office tasks.
- To provide daily support on administrative duties as fund administrator
- To assist in fund accounting activities which includes performance reporting, NAV calculations, annual reporting requirement, subscriptions/redemptions etc
- To provide support in multiple asset classes and funds
- Trade processing and reconciliations
- Develop strong business relationships with both internal and external stakeholder including fund managers, investors, auditors, tax agents etc
- To prepare and generate investment and clients’ asset portfolio reports
- Perform closing of monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts
- Other ah-hoc administrative duties
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CA or professional qualifications
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience (preferably in fund houses and fund administrators)
- Strong knowledge of report standards including IFRS, SFRS and RAP 7.
- Positive attitude with great communication skills, meticulous, analytical and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Individuals who are detail-oriented, comfortable and meticulous to figures and driven to meet deadlines.
- Accounting software - XERO, Netsuite, Fundcount, Finartis etc
