Job Responsibilities
- Creates operational plans to achieve desired outcomes and ensures alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Gathers and analyzes financial data to prepare journal entries, financial statements, and assist with monthly close processes, including preparing accounting reports.
- Ensures general ledger accounts are accurate, reconciled monthly, and well understood.
- Investigates and explains variances in general ledger accounts compared to trends, budgets, and prior-year data.
- Prepares monthly account reconciliations and summary reports.
- Manages assigned accounting tasks, including assigning, reviewing, and evaluating work.
- Documents processes and identifies opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensures compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements by coordinating internal and external audit requests and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Supervisory/Guidance and Audit experience is a must
- Proficient in MS Excel
