Job Responsibilities
- Process orders received through email and phone, verify and input items, transfer orders to fulfillment, and provide information on stock availability and delivery timelines.
- Boost order volume by recommending related items, explaining product features, and reviewing the customer’s purchase history.
- With guidance, manage,qualify, and expand opportunities from marketing, external sales, and national accounts.
- Prepare, issue, and follow up on verbal or written quotes to secure orders or understand reasons for lost orders.
- Monitor open customer orders, address pending items, and take action on those at risk of missing promised delivery dates.
- Maintain backorder reports, track customer expediting requests, and provide notifications as needed.
- Share insights with management on industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback.
Job Requirements
- Diploma holder and above
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be meticulous
