Job Overview:
As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will lead and oversee all aspects of piping projects, ensuring precision in design and seamless execution. This position requires close coordination with multiple engineering disciplines, making it ideal for a seasoned engineer with a passion for leadership and technical excellence. Your role will be instrumental in steering projects toward success while mentoring junior engineers and driving improvements within the piping department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess piping layouts, 3D models, material take-offs, and other deliverables for compliance with codes and standards.
- Support planning and resource allocation for piping engineering tasks.
- Develop procedural documentation, manuals, and training materials for team growth.
- Offer technical guidance on-site for piping installation and testing.
- Handle additional responsibilities as directed by the Piping Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Engineering, preferably Mechanical.
- 15+ years in piping design, including detailed design, stress analysis, and construction engineering support.
- Proficient with Caesar II, AutoCAD, and basic Navisworks/SPR.
- Strong analytical skills for complex piping calculations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
