Job Summary:
As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and optimizing process systems for major petrochemical facilities. This role involves leading process design, performing complex calculations, and reviewing detailed engineering drawings to meet client and industry standards. You will guide engineering teams through every stage, from feasibility studies to detailed design, ensuring efficient and sustainable solutions for high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead process design efforts for major projects, covering feasibility studies, FEED, and detailed engineering.
- Lead tendering and project execution for EPC/EPCm ventures.
- Develop essential deliverables such as specifications, PFDs, P&IDs, and operating manuals.
- Conduct simulations and calculations to optimize project outcomes.
- Design critical industrial components, including reactors, heat exchangers, and compressors.
- Oversee design reviews, HAZOP, IPF, SIL assessments, and 3D model evaluations.
- Provide on-site support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Manage project schedules, manhours, and liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in process engineering, with a preference for the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector.
Skills:
- Proficiency in simulation tools like PRO/II, HYSYS, and HTRI.
- Strong leadership abilities and analytical skills, with a talent for interpreting technical data.
- Excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for technical detail.
