Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, and some others prism products.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, including mechanical, electrical, and refrigerantrelated problems.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, and fans.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Conduct system tests to verify performance, temperature control, and refrigerant levels.
- Calibrate temperature controls,thermostats, and pressure switches as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards for handling refrigerants and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay updated with advancements in refrigeration technology, industry trends, and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects and assignments.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior/or managery.
Requirements:
- Min O-Level or equivalent. Relevant certifications or vocational training is a plus.
- Min 2 years’ experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Possess Class 3 License would be an added advantage
