Job Overview
Reports To: Operations Manager
The Inventory & Warehouse and Asset Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of inventory and warehouse management, as well as overseeing facilities maintenance and optimization. This role ensures the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods, while also maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Additionally, the role includes managing facility needs to ensure a productive and safe workspace for all staff.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory records, addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and manage inventory tracking systems to optimize stock levels, minimize waste, and reduce loss.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely reordering of stock and materials.
- Supervise warehouse staff and monitor their activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in line with company policies and health and safety regulations.
Asset & Facilities Management
- Manage and oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for Asset & facilities services such as cleaning, pest control, and security.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Handle facility-related requests from staff and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain an inventory of facility supplies and equipment, ensuring their availability and upkeep.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve facilities management processes and enhance workplace efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes, warehouse operations, and facilities maintenance.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehousing and facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role within the industry, e.g., wholesale, retail, distribution, AudioVisual ].
- Certification in facilities management or inventory control (e.g., Certified Facility Manager, Certified in Production and Inventory Management).
