Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial accounting duties including preparation of general ledger journals and month-end schedules
- Process payments to vendors and reimbursements to employees
- Prepare invoices and follow up with customers on payments
- Perform trade/bank and revenue reconciliation and manage reconciling items
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports which comply with IFRS, tax and other regulatory requirements
- Assist in statutory audits, tax compliance and other regulatory matters
- Assist with other administrative duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
Desired Skill Set and Attributes
- Full-Time applicants are strongly preferred; Part-time applicants who can commit for minimally 2 days per week are welcomed to apply
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and preferably hands-on experience in accounting software
- Professional written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Proactive with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency
- Good and effective interpersonal skills
