- Develop and execute plans for structured cabling projects in line with required specifications
- Oversee and coordinate the installation, termination, and testing of cabling systems
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to cabling infrastructure
- Work closely with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet all deliverables
- Maintain detailed documentation and records of project milestones and progress
- Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Requirements:
- Technical Officer must know the locations of Transmission cables and High
- Risk Sites for his assigned route / zone.
- Respond to all Earthworks Contractor enquiries for his assigned route/ zone.
- Consolidate the list of high risk sites weekly and constantly monitor the earthwork progress of the contractors.
- Patrol transmission cable routes to ensure that preventive measures to cables are in place and that contractor complies with LRe’s requirements.
- Filled up site check report when carry out site visit via CGP App.
- Ensure have consulted SPPG for High Risk Sites
- To perform ESC standby duty to attend to cable/ gas pipe damage
- To carry out any other duties as and when assigned by supervisors.
What You'll Needs
- Diploma in any Engineering from recognized Polytechnics in Singapore
- Relevant working experience would be advantageous
- Possess a personal vehicle and able to use for work purpose
- Possess skills in project planning, execution, and management
- Good grasp of using Microsoft applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
- Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team and in a challenging environment
