Job Title: Food Service Store Manager

Job Summary:

The Food Service Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a food service establishment, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory, leading a team, and meeting sales and profitability goals. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive service quality, maximize efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service.

• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and reduce waste to optimize store profitability.

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and manage staff, creating a positive and productive work environment.

• Schedule employees effectively, balancing labor costs with operational needs.

• Motivate team members to meet performance and service standards, providing coaching and feedback as necessary.

Customer Service:

• Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.

• Ensure that staff consistently deliver high-quality service, creating a welcoming and efficient customer experience.

• Implement customer loyalty programs and promotions as directed by company policies.

Financial Management:

• Monitor and control expenses, including labor, inventory, and utilities, to achieve budgeted profitability.

• Analyze sales data, customer traffic, and trends to drive performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Maintain cash handling procedures and ensure financial accuracy in daily sales reports.

Health and Safety:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the store.

• Ensure all team members follow health and safety protocols to provide a safe environment for staff and customers.

• Conduct regular inspections and maintain health and safety records.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in food service, with at least 1 year in a management or supervisory role

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

• Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial management

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Skills:

• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality and service

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations

• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team


Food Service STORE Manager Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in the food service industry.
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws as well as food health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
