Our client, the process and construction arm of a major Japanese logistics company in the West, is looking for a Project Manager who can join the company as soon as possible.
Job Description:
➤Key responsibilities for this role include being involved in various project stages which include designing the solution, site and technology assessment, and technical consultations.
➤Also tasked to manage the budget, schedules and quality. To oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment, and the quality of construction, staff productivity, and safety.
➤Put under control several ongoing projects at the same time.
➤Engage in plant operations and maintenance work, with a proven track record of leading projects (civil, mechanical, electrometric, maintenance work, etc.).
➤Engage and establish close relationship with their clients and to search for new opportunities for further businesses
➤Manage the department and give supports to other teams
➤Other ad hoc duties if assigned by managements
➤Coordination and engagements with vendors and OEMs to specify technical specifications and data sheets.
➤To ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings without compromising on quality and safety.
Job Requirements:
➤Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
➤At least 8 years of experience in the field of plant engineering design and construction experience in petrochemical, chemical and industrial plants. Consistent career experience in the engineering department.
➤Experience in the design of engineering systems and equipment including boilers, turbines, compressors, pumps, and heat exchangers.
➤Track record of successfully delivering chemical & industrial projects on time and within budget.
➤Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software tools such as Smartplant 3D, Caesar II or similar plant engineering tool and AutoCAD.
➤Strong knowledge of industrial plant design principles, process and operation philosophy
➤Well-verse with industry standards and best practices for design, maintenance, and reliability.
➤Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
➤Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and with the Clients and Stakeholders.
