The Role
You are responsible for supporting Programme Staff in the daily supervision of children’s safety and carrying out of the KCare Centre’s programme.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Understand the duties and responsibilities of the Programme Staff
• Assist Programme Staff in the daily supervision of children’s safety and carrying out of the KCare Centre’s programme; especially for outdoor play and free play, as well as during the two transition periods (i.e. from 7am to 8am and 5pm to 7pm).
• Provide support, warmth and emotional support for the children when needed.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each individual child. Observe children to detect signs of ill health or emotional disturbance and to evaluate progress.
• Maintain an appropriate atmosphere of safety, learning, and fun, in line with YMCA’s philosophy.
• Help Programme Staff during field trips and ad-hoc activities
• Any other duties or projects to be assigned by the immediate superior.
Job Requirements
• Conversant in the English language
