Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the program, linking various business units and uncovering potential business opportunities within each area.
  • Consistently engage with customers through weekly scorecard reviews, quality meetings, monthly safety and Continuous Improvement (CIP) sessions, project discussions, KPI evaluations, and strategic business reviews.
  • Lead or participate in CIPs and ad hoc projects focused on enhancing workplace safety, driving automation, optimizing processes, improving quality, increasing productivity, utilizing data analytics and visualization, refining storage models, consolidating freight, supporting cross-border trucking, and advancing overall network planning.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of projects with timelines ranging from short-term (6 months) to long-term (up to 10 years).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact in customer interactions and project meetings, representing the program effectively.
  • Take an active leadership role in staff training and career development planning.
  • Manage multiple CIPs and ad hoc projects concurrently, ensuring all adhere to established project timelines.

To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:

  • Bachelor's of Business Administration, Logistics Operations or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a leadership role within contract logistics.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with others.
  • Ability to simplify and convey operational details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Diplomatic, customer-focused, and skilled in handling difficult situations with tact.
  • Experienced in developing and managing project budgets.
  • Proficient in project management, meeting deadlines, and balancing the needs of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a curious mindset.
  • Skilled in data analytics and data visualization tools.
