Responsibilities: • Develop a positive and respectful relationship with the students living in the dormitory. • Provide a safe and secure living environment in the dormitory for student residents so they can focus their attention on their educational program and requirements. • Work to establish and maintain open lines of communication with students, staff, and administrators. • Interprets and implements policies and administrative regulations working through the Facilities Director. • Informs director about activities in the dormitory and makes reports as required. • Exercises decisive leadership in crisis situations. • Attend appropriate staff meetings and in-service seminars. • Report any absences or time away from the dorm so that supervision can be maintained. • Perform any other duties assigned by the director.
