Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Devops Engineer with a strong technical background in AWS cloud environments, particularly in GCC AWS. This role requires expertise in infrastructure automation using Terraform, experience in developing reporting solutions with MongoDB, and hands-on skills in managing cloud migration projects. The ideal candidate will also possess proficiency in CI/CD practices using GitLab (Ship-Hats) and demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities to ensure smooth, optimized cloud transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud solutions, specifically within GCC AWS environments.
· Automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
· Develop and maintain reporting solutions using MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
· Contribute to cloud migration projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve seamless transitions.
· Monitor and enhance performance and availability within Kubernetes clusters.
· Employ CI/CD practices using GitLab (Ship-Hats) for streamlined development and deployment workflows.
Required Skills:
AWS: Deep understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure, with experience in GCC AWS.
MongoDB: Proficient in data modelling, query optimization, and managing MongoDB clusters.
Kubernetes: Skilled in managing, deploying, and scaling applications in Kubernetes environments.
Preferred/Optional Skills:
DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools to support a collaborative, automated environment.
Terraform: Strong working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
· 3+ years of experience working in cloud environments, specifically AWS.
· Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation, reporting solutions, and CI/CD practices.
· Proven track record of success in cloud migration projects and optimizing cloud-based performance.
