Position description:
As a Data Analytics Manager (Product Analytics), you will play a pivotal role within our data team, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams. Your primary goal will be to derive actionable insights from extensive datasets, influencing strategic decisions, improving user experience, and driving product growth. You will lead key projects, lead junior data scientists, and ensure data-driven approaches are integrated into business processes.
What you will be doing:
- Manage product, design, engineering stakeholders to drive large-scale, complex data analysis projects from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Understand how our investment products work and is able to present to senior management business related analysis to improve the adoption and volume of our products
- Work with product managers and the design team to identify the key metrics their product should track and build data pipelines, frameworks and dashboards to track and improve these metrics
- Work with our product managers and design team to create data driven product UI/UX designs to drive adoption of new product features
- Explore our large data sets to improve our understanding of how our customers engage in Pluang
- Help to build product analysis frameworks and enable our product team to be able to make effective decisions on our product
- Use the built frameworks to analyze our user behavior across different user segments, to enable nudges on their behavior to improve engagement and conversion
- Assist our product managers to plan out and build A/B testing experiments
- Monitor data processes, providing the support that teams rely on to make decisions.
- Effectively communicate your work with team leads and cross-functional stakeholders on a regular basis
- Lead junior data scientists in solving our product related problems and guide their career development
- Manage the data work streams under the product analytics umbrella
What you need to be successful for this role:
- BS in a Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics or a related field within 7+ years of experience.
- Strong SQL skills. You will need to write custom queries to pull data to support your assumption and hypothesis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Preference for Google Data Studio).
- Experience with scripting and data analysis using Python.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with good attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in an international team environment.
- Ability to be agile and flexible in adapting in a dynamic environment.
- Interest in the investment, financial sector or web3/cryptocurrency is a plus.
- Familiarity with BigQuery and GCP would be an advantage.
- Prior experience working with clickstream data, especially Firebase / Google analytics data would be preferred.
- Additionally, experience working with product analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel or Clevertap is greatly appreciated.
