Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various kitchen machinery and equipment (e.g. ovens, mixers, refrigerators, freezers)
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot technical issues, and execute timely repairs.
- Recommend upgrades or replacements.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines ensuring a secure work environment.
- Complete job sheet reports accurately
- Drive from location to location in response to requests (Class 3)
Qualifications:
- Higher NITEC/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in machine maintenance, ideally within a commercial kitchen setting.
- Solid comprehension of various kitchen equipment, their components, and operational principles.
- Efficient in completing tasks, taking minimum time
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards related to machine maintenance
- Fluent in English for clear communication
- Organised in work
- Class 3 driver's license is preffered
