Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage site meetings with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Coordinate site access with SMRT for project works.
- Oversee planning and execution of replacement works and approve submitted survey reports.
- Review and verify information sufficiency for construction.
- Liaise with clients and consultants to resolve drawing and specification discrepancies.
- Issue Requests for Information (RFIs) to the client and operator for construction-related inquiries.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective construction methods to improve productivity and quality.
- Control material waste and plan daily site activities.
- Notify quantity surveyors of any potential variation orders.
- Gather and manage engineering data from clients and in-house teams.
- Monitor Non-Conformance Report (NCR) items, ensuring timely remedial actions, inspections, and close-out.
Job Requirements:
- Min. 8+ years in engineering with a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Railway Engineering, including 5+ years managing railway construction teams.
- Proven technical, engineering, and managerial skills; familiar with relevant regulations, codes, and Company Standards.
- Knowledge of railway safety-critical competence requirements.
- Possess Personal Track Safety Certificate is a must.
