Director - Cash Product Development

Job Requirements:


1) The Cash Product Development Manager is responsible for the successful design, development, delivery and rollout of cash management products across Asia Pacific branches and subsidiaries.
2) You will be working with local, regional and global stakeholders across Front Office, Product Management, Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Client Service partners, to develop the product from conceptualization to product launches.
3) You will be expected to impart product know-how to partners like Relationship Managers, Sales, Implementation and Operations to obtain maximum product utilization.
4) You will have the convictions and courage to push the boundaries by bringing new ideas that will take the Bank forward into the next banking evolution.
5) You will take leadership in building innovative product capabilities with an eye for details and influence internal change, navigate regulatory landscape and commercialize capabilities, using agile methodology, or traditional waterfall methodology.


Job Requirements:


  • Proven knowledge of different cash management product features and functions, including payment types, file types, file mappings, and file security.
  • Understanding of payment flows, SWIFT and how cross border payments and Correspondent Banking work.
  • Good understanding of the product development lifecycle with prior experience in drafting vision statements, user stories, use cases documents, solution papers, business workflow documents and high-level design documents
  • Understanding of the transaction banking domain to conceive and design end-to-end product flows, define user interface requirements, identify relevant operational processes and clearly articulate these flows and processes to the relevant business and technology workgroups
  • Proficient in communicating the value of services, in championing the product range across the Bank.
  • Good understanding of XML, SWIFT, authentication, industry trends and product solutions with clients as part of sales support or key client pitches.
  • Good analytical, problem solving and lateral thinking skills to manage complex application functionality challenges and conflicting business demands.
  • Proven inter-personal skills to actively engage with multi-cultural teams across the globe in understanding client needs, training the frontline country staff, managing client queries and feedback.
  • Understanding of technology with proven ability to translate technology possibilities and solutions to business / client usage opportunities.
  • Self-driven and highly motivated professional with a strong sense of ownership and a passion towards delivering high-quality client solutions and business objectives.
  • Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
