Role Purpose: We are seeking an Event Executive (Account Manager) who possesses a genuine passion for the events industry to manage all client relationships from inbound/outbound lead to proposal, all the way through to closing the project.
The position is responsible for driving revenue by developing strategic event solutions for clients. This individual is responsible for, but not limited to, cultivating leads for the sales, developing proposals to gain new business, leading the ongoing service and relationship with clients and meeting quarterly and annual revenue goals in line with the sales plan. He/she should have the abilities to analyse problems and develop creative solutions to clients. With a relentlessly positive outlook and outstanding energy, combine with the ability to really listen to and empathize with clients to build trust and confidence.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive performance and identify achievements as well as areas of focus.
- Close new projects, as well as develop, maintain excellent, strong relationships with our existing clients and align with customer service.
- Drive opportunities from inception to completion and manage the flow of projects, communicate with clients to keep all projects running in an efficient manner. Deliver on-time, on-scope and on-budget projects to client.
- Leads communication and implementation to execute sales strategies and tactics which result in exceeding revenue targets.
- Proactively identify, prospect and pursue new business to achieve targets
- Develop strategies, attend sales calls and meetings to create new opportunities from both existing and new accounts, maximize existing accounts.
- Implement & create your own personal outbound lead strategy
- Generates sales proposals for distribution to prospects
- Identify sales growth opportunities, analysing market conditions, and partners with management team and representatives to develop and implement innovative action plans
Person Specification
- Minimum 1 year experience in Event Industry or Business Development
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from strategy to close; develop client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
- Track record of consultative and idea-based sales experience
