Join our globally integrated team of dedicated indirect tax professionals and you will combine technical knowledge, industry understanding and technologically advanced tools and methodologies to identify risks and sustainable planning opportunities for indirect taxes throughout the tax life cycle at the local level. You will help us provide effective processes, improve day-to-day reporting, reduce attribution errors, reduce cost and ensure indirect taxes are handled correctly in transactions for our clients.
The opportunity
Our GST team is one of the leading GST practices in Singapore reputed for its technical competency and its deep knowledge of businesses. The services offered by our GST team include GST advisory, Assisted Compliance Assurance Program review, Assisted Self Help Kit review, GST return preparation and review, GST due diligence and GST training. As a member of the team, you will not only have the opportunity to enhance your technical knowledge and be creative, but also experience the challenge of being a trusted GST and business advisor.
Your key responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of GST engagements, taking a professional, practical and commercial approach and ensuring technical excellence. You will be required to give professional advice, both written and in person, on GST impact on clients’ supply chain and financial and accounting systems, as well as identifying and addressing areas of GST risk, advising clients on the GST implication of transactions and assist them in complying with GST regulations. Your role will also include building & maintaining relationship with our clients and helping people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.

· Sound technical knowledge in GST through advising on complex GST issues and establishing best practice

To qualify for the role you must have
· A degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting; a CPA or similar certification
· Minimum of 6 years of work experience in a professional services or professional tax organization dealing indirect tax matters
· Hands-on experience for complex GST technical review
· Excellent verbal/written communication skills
· Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others
· Independent in managing own workload, ability to work under pressure and to keep things moving and to juggle multiple tasks
· Excellent team player
Ideally, you’ll also have
· Experience working in multicultural teams
· Accreditation by SCTP
