Responsibilities
- Providing one-on-one and group classes and adapting teaching methods to engage and support students with different learning styles and abilities.
- Creating detailed lesson plans that outline the objectives, instructional methods, activities, and assessments for each class.
- Designing and administering assessments (quizzes, tests, projects) to evaluate student progress.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback on student work and assigning grades.
- Establishing and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, educational research, and new teaching technologies.
- Maintaining open and regular communication with the class consultants to keep them informed about student progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
- Collaborating with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to improve the overall educational experience and support students with diverse needs.
Requirements
- Degree in the related field.
