Our client, a global financial institution is looking for someone with direct institutional interest rate sales experience to join their team.
Key Responsibilities: -
· Work closely with business partners to drive institutional client activity in US Treasury product among Asia-based investors.
· Maintain an interpersonal presence with both clients and prospects through both meetings and entertainment that may require business travel.
· Share local client knowledge of market activity and interest across fixed income products with teams in both New York and Singapore.
· Use an entrepreneurial spirt to continuously prospect for new client relationships in the region.
· Cross-sell the firm’s services including their capabilities in custody, clearing, global payments, and repo; as well as other products such as MBS and Agency debt.
The Ideal Candidate should have the following:-
· MAS or JSDA
· Min 2 years of direct institutional interest rate sales experience
· Fluent in Japanese as the role involves dealing with Japanese clients and counterparts
· In-depth knowledge of the US Treasury and other rate products, including market dynamics.
· Demonstrated success in client relationship building
· Unrelenting drive to grow your own client business
· Excellent written and oral communication skills; as well as demonstrated professionalism, persistence, and attention to detail.
· Genuine interest in and awareness of global markets fluctuations.
