Specialist, Marketing Planner

RESPONSIBILITIES

OVERALL

  • The Marketing Planning Analyst will have a holistic view of all the marketing activities across segments and products for WRB in accordance with WRB business ambitions. He/she will formulate strategic, and integrated marketing plan with his/her team, supporting the Head of Marketing Strategy.
  • The role will ensure that resources are adequate to support planned marketing campaign and activities in support of WRB’s strategies and priorities.
  • This is a Direct contract role for 6 months.

Strategy

  • Manage the global WRB marketing plan and key initiatives, working closely with segment/regional/functional/product marketing teams to support business growth, and in alignment with (global and local) WRB strategy
  • Proactively identify and monitor emerging issues and potential risks to delivery, escalating to line management and relevant CABM and WRB leads as appropriate.
  • Support development of key papers for CABM MT, WRB MT, Business Performance Forums and Quarterly Performance Forums

Business

  • Work closely with Finance, Data and Analytics and insights teams to create clean data repository that can support further analysis and development of ROMI
  • Work closely with Finance to manage cost-centre MI across all markets and produce spends MI that supports investment decision making.
  • Propose adjustments to plans to ensure appropriate resources may be dedicated to support marketing initiatives, keeping in view the strategic priorities for various WRB businesses.

Processes

  • Be the single point for data collection to support data gaps in marketing plan development and delivery.
  • Manage the WRB marketing log and generate MI and key reports for business performance meetings, WRB MT, CABM LT, and other key forums

People & Talent

  • Develop strong internal relationships and collaborative working models with key stakeholders across all markets and business teams to ensure effective partnerships among colleagues across WRB and CABM
  • Keep abreast of delivery of marketing projects against developed plans, update plans and communicate changes to key stakeholders

Risk Management

  • Manage marketing standards to reinforce overall SC brand positioning through consistency in tone, manner, look and feel, and gain competitive market advantage

Governance

  • Implement a standardised affluent marketing operating rhythm including market planning, campaign execution, performance tracking and stakeholder engagement model
  • Understand the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • All Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing leaders and teams (global, regional, and local)
  • All business leaders and teams in Wealth and Retail Banking (global, regional, and local)

Other Responsibilities

  • Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in Global and local marketing roles; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 5 Plus years experience in Digital Marketing Channels in a bank
  • Strong working knowledge of resource planning and GANTT charting
  • Experience in working in a complex, global organization.
  • Experience in Data Gathering & Analysis
  • Experience in Marketing Strategy and Positioning.
  • Contract Duration - 6 months
