Basic scope:
• Ability to manage key logistic operation duties 1) monitoring inbound and outbound Singapore sea or air shipments, 2) local domestic deliveries of office furniture goods to respective projects sites.
• Monitor warehouse operations, including stocks control, receiving and transfers of goods and working with third party logistic facilities.
• Oversee and monitor stocks inventory levels, reconcile issues (products knocked down parts/components), and submit reports on record and update stock movements for in-house inventory system periodically.
• Assisting to sorting of goods when containers ETA goods at logistic warehouse (in the event when respective projects orders- knocked down parts and components- are consolidate within same container)
• Assist with loading/unloading and stocks organization with third parties’ logistic partners.
• Proper handling and checking of bills/Invoices from logistic operators and forwarders.
• Checking and comparing freight forwarders quote on freight cost and handling.
• Conduct regular stock checks, monitors stock levels and track item usage.
• Ensure high standards of store maintenance and storage capacity, so as to achieve a clean, safe, and organized store/warehouse.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and implement cost-saving measures with third party warehouse operators and domestic deliveries partners.
Teamwork Operation
• Liaise with sales team on organising the setting of mock up sample/showroom display.
• Coordinate and liaise with Project team on daily site operations, which includes domestic site goods forwarding activities respectively, return goods/ replacement parts and waste/debris collection.
• Work with finance team in the area of stocks inventory for audit purpose at the yearend financial closing.
• Liaise with administration teams to support completion project execution paperwork (such as Delivery Orders).
Personality
• Display good personal quality, discipline, communication skills and professionalism to maintain good relationship with co-colleagues, customers, third parties’ operators and business partners.
• Be available for overtime on weekends or after office hours, when needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin in daily communication. Added beneficial if acquire ability to communicate with simple Bahasa Malaysia and dialects languages (Such as Hokkien and Cantonese).
