Responsibilities
- Conduct tools box meeting and include safe work procedures as one of the topic
- Conduct inhouse Site Safety Induction Course (SIC) and issue worker security pass
- Attend safety meetings and conduct safety training
- Check all permits before start work
- Conduct site inspection, ensure workers wearing PPE, workers follow risk assessment and safe work procedure
- Monitor and ensure that HSE tools/equipment are inspected by Licensed Electric Worker and update in HSE Monthly tools/equipment master list
- Monitor and ensure that HSE tools/equipment are calibrated when it is due and update in HSE Monthly tools/equipment master list
- Send email to inform Project Admin or Project Engineer in charge (if there is no PA) for HSE tools / equipment due for calibration so that Purchase Requisition will be create in ERP
- Detect unsafe act / conditions and rectify hazards and unsafe practices at site
- Prepare Risk Assessment together with project team and conduct Risk Assessment briefing to all personnel related to the work activities.
- Arrange Client Safety Induction for new workers
- Arrangement for HSE tool/equipment inspection with client
- Involve in emergency response team
- Investigate and prepare report on all near miss incident and accidents
- Assist in the safety audit
Requirements:
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience or
- Certificate in Safety Coordinators and risk management course (bizSAFE Level 2) with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Good knowledge of workplace health, safety and environment regulations.
- Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skill
- Able to work independently
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good Microsoft office knowledge and skills
