Job Description
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the program, connecting various business units and identifying potential business opportunities within each.
- Regularly engage with customers through weekly scorecard and quality meetings, monthly safety, and continuous improvement (CIP) sessions, project-related discussions, KPI reviews, and strategic business reviews.
- Lead and/or participate in CIPs and ad hoc projects focusing on workplace safety enhancements, automation, process optimization, quality improvements, productivity gains, data analytics, data visualization, storage models, freight consolidation, cross-border trucking, and overall network planning.
- Oversee the planning and execution of projects ranging from short-term (6 months) to long-term (10 years) timelines.
- Act as the primary representative in customer engagements and project-related meetings.
- Take a leadership role in staff training and career development planning.
- Manage multiple CIPs and ad hoc projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in related field of study.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in contract logistics leadership role.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conceptualize and communicate operational information to non-operational personnel.
- Diplomatic and customer service-oriented, with the ability to tactfully handle rejections.
- Capable of thinking through and formulating project budgets.
- Proficient in project management, meeting deadlines, and managing diverse stakeholder expectations (internal and external).
- Strong problem-solving and inquisitive skills.
- Proficient in data analytics and data visualization.
