We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee and lead our projects within the commercial joinery sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving project success and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality outcomes
Role & Responsibilities:
Pre-contract / Tendering Phase:
- Provide support to tender team on tender phase, including but not limited to – attending tender briefing/site visit and tender interview, preparation of project programme, project risk analysis, project understanding and strategy to win, as necessary
Project Delivery:
- Participate in project kick off meeting upon contract award, and organise briefing to each team leaders to brief on project scope.
- Prepare and compile all required project documentation i.e. Pre-con Survey Report, PTW submission, Project Schedule, Weekly Site Progress Report, Procurement and Drawings Tracking List, Handover Reports, Defect Registers, Certificate of Complete etc., as required.
- Compile material schedule and identity long lead items, as well as material samples for client sign-off (supported by Procurement, Joinery, and Project Admin team), and liaise with QS and procurement team to ensure timely delivery of all procurement items.
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
- Monitor and control outcomes to resolve issues, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
- Coordinate with all internal departments and vendors to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
- Certify subcon/vendor payment claim (certify payment requisition in HelloSign).
- Ensure timely project delivery at high quality standard and to client’s expectation.
- Work closely with QS on VO summary update, ensuring PMI/PO are received prior to commencing all additional works. Close out project VO with client upon project completion.
- Inform QS team upon achieving key project milestones for progress claim submission/ billing.
- Prepare project close-out report and organise internal project close-out discussion to identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
Job Requirement:
- Adopt a proactive mind-set when facing and solving issues; take charge of the planning and organization of resources and activities at site.
- Minimum must have 10 years of relevant experience in Renovation & Fit-out Works in SINGAPORE (ID & Joinery)
