Document Controller

To maintain and support the Document Control Module of the Project Management System and to supervise Document Co-ordination activities. To co-ordinate technical documentation by data input, internal expediting and generation of reports as directed by the Lead Document Controller in accordance with the Project requirements for quality and the Project instructions.


Job Responsibilities

  • To co-ordinate all systems related activities related to the Document Control function, as described in both Systems and Project instructions
  • To provide agreed routine reporting to the Project at the prescribed intervals.
  • To perform any specific system related projects or tasks as may be directed by the Line Manager from time to time
  • To liaise with AtkinsRealis on System related matters
  • To scrutinize and input document data into the Project Management System, ensuring that the information entered is accurate and up to date at all times
  • To extract the various document control reports defined in the project instructions.
  • To prepare and check the accuracy of document transmittal sheets generated by the system.
  • To perform departmental audits on technical documents.
  • To expedite the review of vendor documentation within the project management team.
  • To liaise with vendors and the mailroom regarding timely receipt and delivery of documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a document controller
  • Familiarity with document control software and systems (Agora & Aconex system)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Fluency in English is required.
