This advertisement is recruiting for the position of ICT Executive.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE secondary school located in Rivervale Link.
Contract Period: From 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 (12 months)
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:45pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7:30am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
The service required are set out as follows :
System Management:
- To assist in maintaining the Resource Booking Service when needed.
Logistic and stock taking
- Assist to manage and track all non-SSOE ICT/AVA resources and inventory (e,g, iPad, Microsoft Surface Pro, printers, etc.) with up-to-date documentation.
- Stock-take and update inventory records for school and audit purposes.
- Maintain repair and loan records of ICT/AVA equipment.
Support daily operations (AVA & IT)
- Assist in the planning and implementation of ICT-related programs (e.g. staff professional development in ICT, learning journey using ICT, cyber wellness program, etc.)
- Assist school-initiated ICT/AVA infrastructure projects, including providing progress report, manage vendors and contracts.
- Gather ICT/AVA needs of the school.
- Provide professional inputs and recommendations on ICT/AVA solutions that can meet the school’s needs.
- Implement preventive measures and maintenance for ICT & AVA Equipment.
- Assist Head of Department and ICT Associate/Manager in the preparation of all necessary administrative duties for the purchase and condemnation of AVA and ICT equipment.
- Provide ICT/AVA/multimedia support for school events (e.g. on site and online streaming events)
- Assist in liaising with vendors for the maintenance and repair of AVA and IT equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and support for school-owned devices.
- 1st level of troubleshooting of student-owned devices.
- Understanding and support various operation system of student-owned devices (e.g Chrome OS, IOS or Windows)
- Advising students on the proper use of student-owned device applications and online learning systems.
- Supporting Home-Based Learning logistic loaning and school hotline help in terms of online learning portal or systems.
- Checking and set-up of equipment used in classroom and for examinations such as portable speakers.
- Assist in rectifying and identify equipment that requires maintenance work.
- Troubleshooting of AV and IT equipment in classroom on a daily operation.
- Providing support to teachers in the use of AV and IT equipment in classroom (e.g. Image and sound projection, observation video recording, school-owned device such as iPad and Chromebook support in classroom during lessons)
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Chrome OS and Chromebook functionality, including efficient navigation, app usage, file management, and troubleshooting, to support and enhance the educational experience in a school environment utilising Chromebooks as student devices.
- Assist to book resources n RBS via school timetable and upon ad-hoc request by teachers.
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Polytechnic Diploma in IT or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Experiences in AV/IT support, Basic knowledge of troubleshooting devices (Chrome, IOS or Windows operating system).
- Inventory management, video and photo editing will be an advantage
