Job Summary
To provide accurate and efficient service regarding shipments.
Roles & Responsibilities
A. Trade Operations:
Ø Handling documentation pertaining to shipment-based on LC and / or other credit terms
Ø Compliance checks of LC and shipping documents
Ø Getting all required documents attested from relevant authorities / ministries/ Chamber of Commerce
Ø Preparing Certificate of Origin, customs / insurance declaration
Ø Coordinating with buyers for document operations
Ø Preparing LC, freight and insurance drafts
Ø Completing paperwork for acquiring certifications / lab tests reports and other necessary documents for shipments
Ø Ensuring timely submission, status tracking of all shipping documents and preparing necessary reports
Ø Working closely with logistics / shipping companies or agents for scheduling
Ø Maintain a proper filing system of all shipment documents
Ø Prepare and circulate trade utilization report
Ø Any other ad-hoc matters as assigned by the Company
B. To provide cover for Trade Finance department:
Ø Maintain excel cash book (in shared folder) for IFFCO Singapore & updating of loans/borrowings in Oracle
Ø Maintaining working relationships with banks pertaining to all export procedures and documents
Ø Follow up for collection on shipments
Ø Update finance charge accruals in Oracle
Ø Any other ad-hoc matters as assigned by the Company
