What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Lead a market operations team providing front line support to Coinbase Derivatives (CDE) and Coinbase International (INTX) exchanges during APAC trading hours.
- Field customer enquiries relating but not limited to exchange functionality, market events, business technology, product specifications, and connectivity.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to balance business growth with acceptable service standards and operational risk.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance or a technical field with documented industry experience.
- 7+ years of experience working with financial markets or in a technical operations role.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and an ability to articulate difficult and complex problems and solutions to a broad range of audiences.
- Excellent analytic and organizational skills; not limited to questioning, call control, professionalism, and multitasking.
- Experience with different channels of support including voice, e-mail and/or chat.
- Adaptable to meet the evolving needs of a high-growth, fast paced, remote first organization.
- In depth knowledge of futures, options, and digital assets.
Nice to haves:
- Basic understanding of network and FIX protocol.
- Data science skills (SQL etc).
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot and/or JIRA is preferred.
