Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage Teams: Head the process engineering team responsible for production, tooling, NPI, and validation.
- Oversee Injection Molding Processes: Manage injection molding for the medical, automotive, and technology sectors.
- Improve Production: Drive production and process improvements related to molding processes.
- Conduct Validations: Lead process validation activities and generate validation protocols and reports (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Document Procedures: Provide and maintain documentation for new/transfer molds and process instructions.
- Coordinate and Solve Issues: Work with cross-functional teams to address process-related issues and implement solutions for process or material problems.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Maintain process effectiveness through continuous improvement projects and compliance with regulations (cGMP, FDA, ISO).
- Support and Develop Teams: Foster a high-performing team aligned with business goals and customer demands.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Plastic Processing, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Certification: Master Moulder Certificate 1 or 2.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in industrial plastic engineering and processing techniques.
- Skills:
- Expertise in scientific molding techniques.
- Proficient in handling various plastic polymers.
- Familiar with medical device validations.
- Knowledgeable in risk assessment and failure mode analysis.
- Skilled in process validation, continuous improvement, and Design of Experiments (DOE).
