About the role
McConnell Dowell is looking for a Senior Project Engineer with marine construction works experience for our project in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective Engineering, Planning, Quality, Survey, Cost Control, and Scheduling functions for the project.
- Adherence to all requirements of the McConnell Dowell Project Execution Plan.
- Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities (attached).
- Assisting Project Manager and Construction Manager with daily site activities.
- Monitoring/reporting site progress (direct employees and subcontract works).
- Formulation of procedures for construction activities.
- Interact with client personnel, and represent McConnell Dowell in a professional way.
- Attendance and contribution to prestart, internal, HSE, and client meetings.
- Adherence to all relevant legislation at work.
- Promotion of MCD Core Values and Safety Culture.
About You
- To be considered for this role, you will have;
- Degree in related engineering discipline.
- 7-10 years of relevant construction works in marine works i.e jetty, pier, wharf, port etc.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work on alternate 6-day work week.
- Transport pick up at Tanah Merah MRT.
