We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our chocolate manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team to ensure efficient and timely production of chocolate products.
- Quality Control: Monitor and ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Team Management: Train, mentor, and manage production staff, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of raw materials and finished products, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely reordering.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all production equipment is properly maintained and promptly address any malfunctions or repairs needed.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of production metrics, including output, waste, and downtime, and report these to the Production Manager.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing environment, preferably in chocolate or confectionery production.

- Good understanding of food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).

- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various temperature conditions.
