Job Description
- Prepare and review the design of the Mechanical Works, such as piping & equipment drawings, calculation and data sheets.
- Involve in daily coordination with internal C&S and BIM team to resolve all the clashes, penetration etc.
- Develop the work schedule and coordination of the project works to ensure project is on schedule.
- Attend to FAT, supervision of the delivery, installation and testing and commissioning of mechanical works.
- Handle and resolve all site technical relating matters.
- Prepare, review and assist in subcontractor design and submission, ensuring all project specifications and design standards are met.
- Prepare all relevant checklist for Installation and Testing & Commissioning Works.
- Assist and collaborate with other project team members to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, consultants, vendors and contractors.
- Attend to clients’ comments and ensure clients’ approval & acceptance to all Mechanical Works related design, installation and Testing & Commissioning Works.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Working experience in water or wastewater industry will be an advantage.
- Familiar with Auto CAD, Mechanical, Structure drawings and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in design, installation, testing and commissioning of the mechanical works e.g. pipings, pumps etc.
- Experience in Project Execution, Project Coordination, Supervising and Coordination with sub-contractors, consultant, and Client.
- Good technical knowledge in understanding the Mechanical System.
- Well versed in BIM software i.e. Bentley and Navisworks
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under tight deadlines.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Will be required to work full time on project site.
