Responsibilities
- Assist in picking and organizing goods for both local and export shipments.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and sub-contractors for incoming shipments to ensure timely logistics.
- Support the maintenance and updating of stock inventory records, including monitoring cargo movement.
- Help ensure proper storage, cleanliness, and safety of goods in the warehouse.
- Assist in stock checks, including cycle counts and annual stock takes.
- Support warehouse team in managing inventory at local 3rd party and consignment (overseas) warehouses.
- Help monitor warehouse safety protocols, including equipment inspections and safety meetings
- Assist with the management of warehouse-related projects, such as space management and scrap handling.
- Support invoice and document management, and ensuring compliance during audits.
- Suggest and assist in automating tasks.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in logistics, supply chain or a related field (e.g., coursework, projects)
- Able to work independently with good positive attitude and ability to self motivate.
- Good communication skills, team player, able to collaborate with others.
- Able to commit to 3 - 4 months internship duration
- Proficient in Microsoft office Applications, Warehouse Management System
- Experience in the relevant industry will be considered an advantage
- Preferably with SAP experience
