Job Description:
- Responsible for overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the safety, health and environmental matters in the project.
- Conduct regular site checks, make sure procedures & policies are implemented, take appropriate corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure overall compliance and good procedures/practices in statutory environmental and health requirements at project site and requirement premises at all time.
- To identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice is carried out in the worksite.
- Implement and monitor environmental, health & safety management system on site.
- Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain of documentation for all EHS issues according to ISO.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with MOM, NEA and EHS regulations.
- Liaise with relevant authorities on all environmental and safety issues.
- Support all in-house EHS initatives.
Requirement:
- Specialist diploma in WSH or MOM Recognised certificates
- Possess relevant safety certificates (Eg Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Building Construction
- Familiar with ISO45001, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be responsible, organized and self-initiated.
- Respect for deadlines, sense of urgency.
- Registered with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) as WSHO and have at least 3 years of post-registration and practical experience
