Salary: $5,000 to $6,000 per month

Contract Duration: 1 year (with option to extend)

AWS: 1 month for every 12 months continuous service


What’s the role?

The Business Analyst shall be responsible for the value delivery of an in-house LNG optimistation product that will enable profit maximisation for our global business. You shall drive delivery of agile squads to ensure timely release of features that will provide our business with a strategic advantage in the industry.


Your Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements translate them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria for the squad(s).
  • Champion preferred ways of working into the Product team, ensuring best use of agreed agile and DevOps approaches, methods, and frameworks – driving alignment across squads and wider teams.
  • Lead software developers, designers and architects to estimate efforts, plan capacity, identify dependencies and drive end-to-end delivery.
  • Estimate effort, plan capacity, and drive overall productivity of team.
  • Prioritise product backlog items by assessing risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact with key stakeholders.
  • Validate deliverables to ensure acceptance criteria and definition of done is achieved.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to oversee release plans including hypercare support and post-release communications to stakeholders.
  • Create / update clear documentation of requirements to align with the solution over the project lifecycle.
  • Create and present compelling business cases to justify solution value and establish approval, funding and prioritization.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5 years or more proven track record of product delivery, with clear understanding of Agile framework and ways of working.
  • Out of the box thinking / innate curiosity about consumer problems and ways of resolving them via digital solutions.
  • Background in managing backlog, developing user stories and estimating story points.
  • Proven ability to master the complexity of interactions, demonstrating strong communication skills, among IT, digital and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in LNG / Gas Trading / logistics would be a bonus, but not a must.
