About Parameta Solutions
Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.
Job duties:
Analysis:
- Be a subject matter expert in D&A’s data collection and processing infrastructure and systems
- Work with D&A Product and Sales to understand new business requirements
- Work with D&A Technical teams/Managers to convert business requirements into IT solutions
- Analyse existing data flows and processes working with the TPI Product team to support new business initiatives and changes in the global regulatory landscape
- Understand, articulate and define the benefits that will be delivered by a given technology initiative or change.
- Understand the broad context of technology within Tullett Prebon to ensure any system changes do not affect other business processes.
- Requirement and defect /issue prioritisation
Requirements Management and change control:
- Break down requirements into epics and user stories and work closely with all stakeholders to define acceptance criteria
- Work with business stakeholders and product managers to manage the product backlog.
- Develop and maintain feature documentation
- Be responsible for User Acceptance Testing and end user training/handover
- Produce Support documentation as required
Communication:
- Communicate to the project team on a regular basis by delivering progress reports both written and verbally
- Coordinate and manage requirements capture, and review workshops with multiple stakeholders.
- Communicate with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues
- Act as a domain expert or Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relation to the system or services they are involved with
- Be the primary point of contact for the Development Team. Resolve any design or functional issues and deal with any queries.
- Communicate to the project team on a regular basis by delivering progress reports both written and verbally
- Coordinate and manage requirements capture, and review workshops with multiple stakeholders.
- Help set and continually manage requirements delivery expectations with team members and business users
- Communicate with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues
Requirements for the role:
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to forge working relationships with various teams within the organisation
- Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Logical and structured approach to problem solving
- Familiar in Microsoft office, especially MS Project and Excel
- Numerate and analytical
- Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
- Business Analysis qualifications (ISEB, Dip BCS) an advantage
- Proven analysis skills with real time data
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence
Supervisory Duties:
- Management and supervision of the global BA team

- Ensure all staff who report to you are aware of how to escalate any issues which may arise.
- Set development and general objectives
